Neopets, TUL, then Gaia...

I have been a member on Neopets.com for... a long time... 6 years to be exact. It was there that I discovered TUL (The United Literates @ said name .com), which is almost like Neopets in that you can role play anything you want, but isn't like Neopets because it's long term posting, instead of posting with people who are on right then. From there I found Gaia (well, actually, I already had a Gaia account, I just didn't know that you can role play there) and have learned that it is another step up. On Gaia, you can role play anything you want, and it can be long term OR instant! I haven't tried anything yet, but plan to soon.

The good thing about posting with people who are on right then is that it is instant gratification, and slightly harder to get bored. With TUL, I have started two different role plays, and have stopped in the middle of both of them... Very annoying, since I liked both of them, but I got bored too quickly.

With Gaia, I'm hoping to change that. I can do both long term and short term role plays. I'm so excited!

Smile, It Looks Good On You!

Last night was really bad at work.
I was closing lobby, which I hate, but doing drive-thru, which I love. Around 9PM, I was told to start on my lobby. I has almost done mopping just after closing time when I was called back to the drive-thru to help with the insanely long line of cars that still wanted food.
While Mikel (An employee) took orders, I collected the money from the window and passed out their food.
15 minutes after closing, the last car pulled up to the window with four guys, each with their own seperate order. (All of them were cute, and very polite) After the last guy handed back the small clipboard we use for signing credit card receipts, I asked them to pull forward while Steele (One of the assistant managers) finished making the food. Then I looked at the clipboard. Clipped on top of the receipt was a small business card that had a giant smilie face on it and these words:

SMILE!
It Looks Good On You!

I thought it was awesome! Of course, as soon as they left, Steele and Mikel started swearing up a storm at them, but I didn't care. I thought it was sweet of them to give the card and kind of hope they come back tonight for my phone number! (I really do wish, but it probably won't happen...)

I feel so loved...

I got home from work last night around 10:45, and let the cats inside. (Oh, I have two cats, Carson and Sam. Carson is black and gray, Sam is pure black) I turned off the light and locked the door, then went down stairs to go to bed. Halfway through changing into my pajamas, (I was in my pj bottoms and a white tank top) I heard a strange squeaking meow from my door. I opened it and had to put my foot in the way of Carson trying to get into my room. (The cats are NOT allowed in my room)

After trying to keep him out of my room for a few moments, I pushed him out, turned off my light, turned on the hall light, and closed my door, with me outside with the cat. Then I sat down and started petting him.

He acted like he hadn't been petted in years! It was the funniest thing to see! He rubbed my hands, legs and feet, like he didn't want to stop for about 15 minutes until I was ready for fall asleep and tricked him into staying upstairs. Not an easy thing to do with a cat that likes to follow you around...

In other news, I lost all the phone numbers on my phone... They went poof and now I need to get everyone's phone number again...

Well, I don't have anything else to say...

Trying not to scream cause I'm in the library

I just checked out Stephenie Meyer's website, which I haven't done for a while and there are three things I am wanting to scream about. (If I were at home I would be screaming, but I can't do that in a library...)

One, her non-Twilight book, The Host, is coming out in May, and she will be coming to SLC for a discussion and signing! I am totally there!

Two, Breaking Dawn comes out August 2nd! *SCREAM!*

Three, Twilight the Movie comes out December 12. *SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM!*
And with his hair died and makeup and costume on, Robert actually does look kind of like my idea of Edward... There are three new pictures on her website of the Cullen family in costume and ready for filming! They all look AMAZING!

...*SCREAM!*

In other news, I'm way ready to move out, though I don't have diddly squat in the money department... Boo hoo...

I need a new phone... If I had a phone that had web abilities, I would be about to check my email and post here more often, and not have to go to the library or beg mom and dad for measly computer time...

Well, my brother is ready to leave now, and I need to go.

Well, I now have a 72" flat screen TV...

Yes, you read it right. A 72" flat screen TV. Of course, it's just my wall, a pair of speakers, and a projector, but still. It works! I think... Mom and Dad watched the old version of the Three Musketeers (With Michael York) on it a few days ago and we are going to watch something tonight on it. (Don't know what movie yet, so don't ask.)

I have had about 3 new story ideas, lost my 'Writer's Bible', and have to decided between a job where I have to work on Sundays, or a job where I have to work more to get less pay... Sad... Actually, I don't know how much more I would get paid. The Sunday job would be $9.00/hour, while the other job I would have to pass a test first before I could get a pay raise from my current $7.50, and I don't know how much of a pay raise. Still, I would rather work more than work on Sunday.

And the 'rents have tried to tell me something about my finances, but I don't think I got it...

Anyway, I have to go join the family for the movie...

I told you I wasn't very good.

See, It's been... 5, 6, 7... Eight months since I last posted... Wow...

Anyway, I promise, pinky swear, that I will remember to post here at least once a week. And that I won't talk about my life too much. After all, this blog is about the world, not Noble's life.

We'll see. Maybe I will just post about my life. It has been pretty interesting... Not really, but there have been a bazillion ups and downs in the past few months.

All I'm going to say about my life right now is it sucks... Err... bites... dangit, I'm not supposed to use that word anymore... Oh well.

Anyway, I found this site... Actually I have known about it for a while, I just started to go to it more often in the past two days. It's called Tomgeeks and it's a bunch of web comics done by girls. There's tons that I really like, for example Earthsong, The Dreamer, Strays, Xylia Tales, and The Phoenix Requiem. Oh, and Faywinds and Roza, but I don't read those as often. It's a great place to catch all my favorite web comics! Maybe I'll suggest it to my friend...

I have to remember this link... http://ladystar.net/venomlegion/2008/03/20/ladystar-fury-of-the-venom-legion-all-new-comic-updates-on-thursdays/ I have been reading web comics while I write this, and this is one that is not attached to Tomgeeks, therefore would be hard to find again.

Well, I think Faywinds just made it on to the 'love it' list with all the rest... Couldn't stop laughing! ;l

Now lets see if Roza is the same...

Well, it's okay, but I don't really like the art stlye very much. I'm very picky that way... The color is good, but I just don't like so many pudgy button noses.

Anyway, Tomgeeks is something everyone should check out. One of the requirments to become one of the listed comics is that they have to be active, therefore, it's full of active comics. Yeah for active comics!

Hehe... I think I have blabbed for enough now. Until next time!
