Kyle Smith A.K.A. The 'talks to me' guy

A little back story first.

When I first start college last fall, I had a psychology class that was from 7pm to almost 10pm every Monday. After class, I had to ride the bus to the train station then ride the train home. The first day I had class, we got out early only an hour and a half after we had started instead of the full three hours. As I waited at the bus stop listening to my iPod, I recognized that someone joined me at the stop, but like always, I just ignored them. Then, after a few minutes, the person came up and started to speak to me. Of course, I couldn't ignore them any long so I turned off my iPod and turned my full attention on the person.
It was a guy, which kind of shocked me, and he was rather cute in a scruffy looking way. He had blond hair that was all over the place, some facial hair that looked good on him, and these pale blue eyes that were amazing!
We got to talking and soon the bus arrived. We both got of the bus and continued to talk. We talked all the way up until I had to get off the train at my stop.
And we repeated it again the next monday.
It was sort of on and off every monday, his spanish class getting out earlier than mine and sometimes he would get on the earlier bus.
This continued until I was kind of stupid and bought a portable DVD player and avoided him so that I could watch movies. (REALLY stupid, I know. I feel bad now.)

Anyway, I can't seem to get rid of him. I see him everywhere, not that it's a bad thing. This semester, I get on the train just as he is getting off, unless I happen to go to the library that day, which is in the opposite direction.
And I saw him again today.

For a while, I tried not to think of him romantically, him not being of my same faith and him seeming to be about the same height as me. (I want guys who are taller... Me being weird...)
Today, as we talked a little before he got on the bus, I noticed that he really IS taller than me. And adorable... And wants to be a marine biologist... *Sigh* Too bad he's going to Long Beach to do that after this semester...

Anyway, I am mucho excited. I get to see my two bestest friends in the space of a week! One, Cheez who is a sophmore in high school, is coming to my house Saturday and not leaving until Sunday afternoon. Wheee!
And Two, Balgram, invited me to go with her and her other friends to the local theme park on the last day of school. Double Wheee!

And Holly, I would love an invite to see your writing blog...

TUL

So, remember the post about Neopets, TUL, and Gaia?
Yeah... Well... I returned to TUL and plan on never leaving again. Gaia just isn't as cool! Nothing is better than TUL! Already, after only two days, I have started two role plays and have three more ready to go! I am so excited!

Moving and waking up with the sun

I changed rooms in the house yesterday. I went from a cave to a veritable run room. My original bedroom was in the basement with no windows to one on the main floor that has two big windows, one of which faces the east. In the original bedroom I was able to actually sleep until 10 or 11 in the morning due to the fact that the room was completely dark and I couldn't tell what time it was. In the new bedroom, the window is to the east and the sun shines in the window as soon as it shows itself. Plus there is a streetlight just outside the window that shines in at night. I swear, it's light enough to read by. But the room has hardwood floor and a big closet. I like it a lot.

Dream

This is the dream that I had last night...

I don’t remember the first part, but what I do remember, I had gotten off the bus at a weird bus stop which was a giant slab of concrete out by a vast desert. I looked around and saw that a man was approaching, and that there were tons of people milling around. The man shouted something when he got close, and the people began to run around, instead of mill around. When the man got to the slab, there were four men who stood up and the rest of the crowd parted. The first man, who was slightly in front of the rest, looked like a John Wayne type. The other three, lined up behind him, were also cowboy like. The man shouted that there needed to someone more, and I suddenly volunteered, for what, I don’t know. The man nodded and I entered the building behind the bus stop, which turned into my grandparents house, and began to pack. One thing I packed was my boom box, the other thing was a guitar bag which had a thin electric guitar in the bottom. After a I packed up, I left the building, saying goodbye to Grandma, who was in the house, and saw that outside there were about five or six cars lined up, and every one had one of my best friends. I went around saying goodbye to everyone, until I came to the last car, a red English sports car. I approached it from the American drivers side, and the driver climbed out of the car on that side, climbing over the passenger seat. He[1] gave me the biggest hug, and I hugged him back, my hand on the back of his neck, touching his short hair. Then I started sobbing. I didn’t really want to leave. After what seemed like forever[2], he let me go and I ran back into the building, which was then the apartment behind grandma’s house. I found my mom packing and she asked me what I had packed. I showed her my boom box and the top part of the guitar bag, but then after looking at the bottom part and being reminded of the guy and the hug, I said she wasn’t allowed to look at that, that she was too young. She got mad at that, but in my mind, she was too young to be allowed to see it. Then Mom and I went outside and started to leave with the men. I looked for Free again, but his car was gone and only his sister, Show, was there, doing a lap dance for whom ever was in the car… I was very sad.
After I had woken up, I began to imagine what might have happened had I stayed asleep. He might have driven back with a packed bag and gave me another hug saying that he couldn’t let me leave without him, and then he walked with me, his arm around my waist.

[1] He was kind of short, just a little bit shorter than me, and absolutely gorgeous. He was also, for some reason, called Free.
[2] And I wish it had gone on forever

Yeah... So... That was my dream... I was so sad to wake up... But wake up I did around 6:30. I don't know why I woke up, because there was no sound anywhere and I was really tired. But I woke up, and couldn't get back to sleep for a long time. Then I was woken up by Dad around 9 for breakfast. Breakfast was a cinnamon tea ring and eggs. After that, we watched the first session of LDS General Conference. It was really good. I loved the talk by Kenneth Johnson, a member of the quorum of the Seventy. His voice sounded a little like Jim Dale and was fun to listen too.

Tonight at work is going to be interesting. The Saturday night of General Conference is always the Priesthood session and after it's over at 8 O'Clock, all the men all over the place go straight to Arctic Circle for shakes. That means hundreds of shirt and ties coming in and asking for ten shakes an order. I was there for it last year, and believe me. It's VERY hectic.

Laters!

Deaf Guy

I was riding on the train, going to the city library, when the giy sitting across from me left and was replaced by another guy who had been watching me the entire trip. I was listening to music and ignored him, like I normally ignore people on the train. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the guy pointing at me, and I looked up at him.
He began to sign, asking me if I was listening to (or maybe it was like) music. I smiled and signed yes back. He then introduced himself as John. I told him my name, we exchanged ages, then he had to get off the train at the next stop so he asked for a pencil that was visible in my bag and he gave me his email address. How cool is that!
